We are pleased to announce that Worcester Snoezelen has been proudly nominated for a National Lottery and ITV partnered award. Titled the People’s Millions, this public voted competition offers its winner’s up to £50,000 of funding to spend on a project of their choice.
Snoezelen needs your vote in order to win this funding so that they can create a fully inclusive activity area for people of all ages who have physical disabilities, learning disabilities and additional needs. This will give people who have limited physical and/or cognitive awareness, the opportunity to access appropriate physical recreation and most importantly, to have fun in life. Snoezelen is the area’s leading charity for life enhancing multi-sensory services and your vote could help improve the lives of hundreds of its users.
The telephone number to vote will be released on the Snoezelen Facebook page (Worcester Snoezelen), Twitter page (@snoezey) and their website www.worcestersnoezelen.org.uk at 9:00am on Wednesday 26th November. Calls will cost 15p (B.T landlines & mobiles) and you can vote a maximum of 10x per person – Thats only £1.50 a little of your time.
