A completely inclusive, monthly session exploring creative dance technique, improvisation and performance. Create new dance in a positive environment where difference is seen as creative opportunity. Open to disabled and non-disabled people, ideal for dancers, teachers, community artists and people who want to explore their creativity, with or without previous dance experience. All that’s needed is a passion to dance!
Sunday 19 May – Improvisation
Discovering movement material from within and without the body, working with partners and groups to create dances that, although made in an instant, have form and shape.
Sunday 16 June – Lovely Bugs
Making links with everyBODY dance’s current production of Lovely Bugs http://www.dancefest.co.uk/lovely-bugs.html and exploring the themes of flight, swarming and web making through movement.
