EFDS announce the launch of the Public Health’s Everybody Active, Every Day scheme.

‘Everybody Active, Every Day’ is a long-term, evidence-based approach to increase physical activity in local communities. The English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) are pleased that disabled people are highlighted as a key priority group.
The document highlights that disabled people are half as likely to be active than non-disabled people, however EFDS research suggests that 7 out of 10 want to become more active.
EFDS played a big part in supporting Public Health England with the initial research and will continue to do so.
