Disability Sport Worcester have received funding from Community Trust to run and deliver a multi inclusion club at Warndon Primary School.
The club started in November 2012 and is aimed at young people 7+ living in the Warndon, Rainbow Hill and Gorsehill areas of the city.
The club was set up to allow young people to engage with each other in a safe environment and give them the opportunity to try new adapted equipment such as tennis, new age kurling, hockey, basketball, boccia, football and many more.
The activities offered will encourage young people to be physically active, have fun learn new skills and make new friends.
The session runs on a Saturday morning at Warndon Community Centre 10am till 11.30am and costs £2 per person.
The staff have been DBS/CRB checked and have experience of working with a wide range of young people.
The session is open and inclusive to all young people 7 – 16 years.
The club will re start Saturday 9th November 2013.
