England Blind Cricket

In the recent Blind International Cricket Series between England and Australia local Worcestershire lad Luke Sugg played for England in both the test series and the T20 Tournament. Unfortunately in the test series Australia won the Ashes winning 3-0. In the second test match Luke scored 107 runs not out off 73 balls. Luke was given the honour of captaining the England team in the T20 Tournament. England won the tournament 2-0 with Luke taking 3 wickets for 20 runs in the second game.

Disability Sport Worcester supported the England team by supplying a volunteer driver with Worcester City Council providing the transport. Worcester Nortons Cricket Club also generously offered training facilities for the England team.
